Responsible Tourism + Community Connection

Community
Impact

Tourism that connects people, wildlife, culture, and communities.

Our Vision

Our Community Vision

LAT wants to connect tourism with positive community contribution in Tanzania. We believe that when visitors come to Tanzania for its extraordinary natural world, they can also help support the people who call this country home. Tourism, at its best, creates a bridge between global visitors and local communities — one that leaves something lasting behind.

Planned Initiative — Subject to Confirmation

Planned Eye Clinic Support
September 2027

In September 2027, LAT plans to support a group of volunteer doctors from Spain who will come to Arusha for a seven-day eye clinic activity at Mt Meru Hospital.

The activity is expected to focus on eye care support and micro eye operations, in coordination with medical professionals and the appropriate local health stakeholders.

Important: This is a planned community impact initiative and will depend on proper medical coordination, approvals, partner confirmation, hospital coordination, and final program confirmation. No medical outcomes are guaranteed.
